In a truly unprecedented manner, we find ourselves and many of our fellow Americans suffering from a second hurricane. Sofo Foods maintains its commitment to our team members and customers for safety and service. We have also extended our charitable efforts, as so many have, in reaction to this weather disaster. 
Sofo Foods of Georgia, our distribution facility in Suwanee, has been spared and our team members in the south are safe. For that we are very thankful. We have done everything we can thus far to make sure we are on schedule. We are constantly reviewing the situations in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina and are reacting as quickly as information changes. 
Large areas in remain impassable and the government has requested roads to remain clear of traffic in many areas so that cleanup may begin. 
As soon as it is safe and allowed, we are moving our trucks to every location requiring food. We will extend our work with charities to help those directly impacted by Hurricane Irma, and continue our efforts with hurricane Harvey.
Our thoughts and prayers are with our family and friends in Florida. Please stay safe.

In the coming months, Sofo Foods will reveal four new trailer designs. A major re-design project is nearly complete, that includes designs featuring pizza, pasta, salad and a sub sandwich. Each side of the trailer will have a completed product on one side and the ingredients to make it on the other side. The designs were created using custom photography of actual products we sell and the final menu items created. Each truck in our fleet is a moving billboard and a direct reflection of the image of our company. All of our marketing efforts combined don’t have the visibility and potential to reach new customers like our fleet can. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect to see soon.

Sofo Foods is a family and our hearts go out to the family members from our Houston Distribution Center.  But as we’ve seen – the worst in Mother Nature brings out the best in human nature. Our pride also swells from the family we have in our other Distribution Centers.  The prayers, financial contributions, and concerns they share are palpable- for everyone in Houston.

We have many customers as part of our family as well.  Customers who have been deeply impacted by this hurricane.

And so, as we always do, we strive to protect our people and serve our customers and the community they are in.  Brave, volunteer drivers, from our Toledo DC are loaded up with food so desperately needed in this area.  Many of our customers are donating this food to volunteers working in Houston.

There is a huge cascading effect like we’ve seen throughout America – of everyone pulling together to do their part to get through this.

Last week Sofo Foods employees rolled up their sleeves to donate blood.  This week we’re rolling up our sleeves to help again, as we will always do.  We will continue these efforts for as long as it takes.  

We’re concerned for our fellow Americans in Houston and proud of everyone who has stepped up to help!
